- 1 large - bite size cut green bell pepper
- 2 1/2 cups pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup catsup
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large - bite size cut onion
Mix cornstarch, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, salt and pineapple juice in a saucepan. Cook until thick. Add pineapple, onion and green pepper.
Trim pork. Dip pork in egg and coat with mixture of flour and salt. Cook in a frying pan with a small amount of oil until tender and light brown. Remove from pan and combine with sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
