Lightest possible configuration for record-only use case

Hi all!

I'm searching for a lightweight nvr for 7x24 recording of my 5 cameras.
My main goal is to keep the CPU usage al lower as possible.

Is it possible to disable all motion/object detection features and only use Viseron for save the rtsp stream to the disk and review them using the web interface?
Is it possible to DISABLE decoding of the stream during normal operation?

Hello!

Yes you can use Viseron without using motion or object detection.
You would have to use the latest v3 beta for that.

I am unsure if Viseron still does the decoding.
Would be great if you could test it out and we can work from there

Hmm, does the camera only allow one stream at a time then maybe?

no no I can connect from multiple clients without issue

Can you show me your full config?

Just tested again and it is working fine for me (except for the stream restarting every now and then as i mentioned before)

sorry I tested again and now the error is gone, strange. nonetheless I'm still getting 100% CPU load:

Can you enable debug logs and restart Viseron?
Interested in seeing the generated commands.
