Releases: quince-science/QuinCe
Release 1.0.3a
Release 1.0.3 missed some configuration file updates for the JUnit tests. These have now been added.
Release 1.0.3
Summary
Release 1.0.3 contains the first scripts for automated export functionality and NRT data handling, together with significant performance improvements in the Data Reduction and Automatic QC jobs.
There are also continued bug fixes and usability improvements.
Major new features
QuinCe can now create and manage Near Real Time data sets:
- Collecting and importing data
- Processing and automatic QC
- Export to external systems
Data Reduction and Automatic QC jobs are significantly faster. Data reduction is around 3x faster; Automatic QC is around 20x faster.
New selection tools in the QC pages make the user's QC a much smoother experience.
Other new features
- Uploading of updated files (an existing file with extra data) is now supported
- A new preprocessor is available for data stored in SQLite database files (converts to CSV for import into QuinCe)
- High delta checks have been removed for ∆T and salinity, as they give too many false positives and most errors are picked up by other checks
- Customisable heading in export files
Bug fixes
- Fix sensor calibrations link
- Fixed error thrown when no date was specified for a new external standard or calibration deployment
- Fixed strange text on Y axis buttons in variable selection dialog in QC pages
- Handle '/' characters in export configuration names (these are no longer supported)
- Correctly export equilibrator pressure values
Release 1.0.2
Release 1.0.2 contains a number of bug fixes and usability improvements:
New functions:
- QuinCe now works in Firefox
- The automatic QC has been revised to detect more problematic values without the user needing to fix values and then re-run the QC - this led to multiple QC rounds, which have been greatly reduced
- Original raw files can be included in exports to provide all data used in the creation of a dataset
- Forgotten passwords can now be reset
- SST and Salinity QC information can be exported for use in other applications
Bug fixes:
- User registration is fixed
- Entering blank login info no longer gives an error
- Fixed selection of external standards during data reduction
- Map scales are hidden at correct times on the QC page
- Minor usability fixes to file format detection screen
- Minor fixes to data set creation
- Background job errors are flagged more reliably
Maintenance fixes:
- Configuration changes for deployment at Carbon Portal
Release 1.0.1
