Discussed in #1188

Every ZAP release update leads to .zap repo deletion which is very problematic. Need to figure out the root cause for database corruption or other issues and fix this. Also look into any short term workarounds to help users not deal with this issue while the main issue is resolved.

this is fixed with the latest nightly
