I'm not sure why your media picker is not working. Can you check your browser console if there are any errors?

But there is a bug and a missing button in the url modal. Will be fixed in the next patch.

I face the same issue since about 15 Weeks. My podcast is running since years with podlove, but there must have been an update and until then i cannot upload Episode Covers. Every Episode of my podcast has an own cover. Since 15 weeks i am unable to use these. If i click on "Media" only a blue frame around the button appears but no media library for chosing the image. It worked for years without a problem

I need more information since I am unable to reproduce this behavior.

  1. open the browser console (see this guide for different browsers)
  2. click the "Media" button
  3. see if any errors or notices appear in the console, and report them here

Sorry for the late reply.

The interesting part is this:

TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'getEditedPostAttribute')

Are you using the Gutenberg editor? Because the Publisher seems to think you do, but maybe you are not? Could you please try turning it on or off and see if that changes anything? I'll check if I can reproduce this now by playing with editor settings.

Still no luck. Can you post your list of active plugins? I tried installing some from @different-thinking which may have had some influence on the editor, but I can't manage to reproduce your issue.
