• Scene selection - green scene squares - only the part aligned with the swot path has any data. Footprint better than larger square. Global attributes in the raster product that give the left first, right last, left last, right first could give the better boundary
• Where the boxes are may change a tiny but from cycle to cycle, but almost geographically fixed. Search based on nominal coverage by one day or 21 day orbit instead of looking over CMR. Static set of granule polygons. Geographic search based on static information instead of search on time.
• User looking for not on demand, already found granules, I want a custom set of the same granules I found of the standard product.
  • Our plan is to integrate in earthdata search
• Bring in Tamlin, Colin & co
• Increasing the efficiency of the algorithms is not hight priority right now, pixel clouds are the biggest bottle neck. Speed improvements! Raster processor is parallelized within the last 6-9 months. More threads could reduce the latency.
• The collection being used will always be the latest and is combined with the old ones so there is no need for the ability to select older collections.
