Missing pCap Values in CompScen - Energy Services

Freight and Passenger per Capita does not work:

• variables "ES|Transport ... pCap" here do not exist in Transport.mif

• what is missing?

  • pCap: per Capita variables [km/per person]. For this, you need “Population” and “GDP per Capita”
  • We use the population data from the historical.mif. You should continue using the historical.mif even though we have for stand-alone runs population data in “1_InputDataRaw/population.RDS” (in a REMIND-run this would be in “EDGE-T/1_InputDataRaw/population.RDS” but for a normal run, this file does not exist there)
  • In the code, you can see that Population and GDP pCap are defined here and here and added to the “main data” here
  • something in the preprocessing fails
