VTL, Vaccinated Travel Lane ✈️

Travelling from Singapore to Indonesia 🛄

ONLY FOR INDONESIAN (SINGAPORE PERMANENT RESIDENT/LONG-TERM VISIT PASS) ⚠️

0. Prerequisite 💡

  1. Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) - Indonesian Identity Card.

  2. Indonesian Passport.

  3. Singpass account and Singpass app to access Singapore Government e-services.

  4. Email address:

  5. Mobile number to submit SG Arrival Card with Electronic Health Declaration.

  6. Fully Vaccinated in Singapore with:

    • 2x doses of Pfizer-BioNTech/COMIRNATY/Moderna.
    • 3x doses of Sinovac-CoronaVac/Sinopharm/Novavax.
    • NOTE: Booster dose probably will be required in the future to keep Fully Vaccinated status in Indonesia.

0.5 Budget 💸

  1. Pre-departure COVID-19 PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) between S$98 to S$180 from Singapore to Indonesia.

  2. Flight Ticket with return flight from Singapore to Indonesia between S$300 to S$600.

  3. Quarantine Hotel S$900 - S$6000 (https://quarantinehotelsjakarta.com/).

  4. Pre-departure COVID-19 PCR test from Indonesia to Singapore between S$30 (Normal PCR, 24 hours) - S$200 (Express PCR test, 3-4 hours).

  5. On-Arrival PCR test at Changi S$125.

  6. 6-Days ART after arriving in Singapore:

    • Unsupervised self-administered ART on Days 2, 4, 5 and 6 (S$26.40 for 5 Test Kit)
    • Supervised ART on Days 3 and 7 ($15 per test).
    • From 24 January 2022: VTL (Air) travellers entering Singapore only be required to undergo daily Unsupervised self-administered ARTs from Day 2 to Day 7 of their arrival if they need to leave their place of accommodation. (S$5.70 per Test Kit).

  7. NOTE:

    • Normally before arrival, the Hotel will ask to pay deposit to keep hotel booking. Informed the Hotel that the payment will be made upon arrival in Indonesia using Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard). 📌
    • Exchange rate for SGD (Singapore Dollar) to IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) inside Changi Terminal 3 is not "friendly". Change SGD to IDR before going to Changi Airport. 📌

FOLLOW BELOW STEPS SEQUENTIALLY, DO NOT JUMP. EACH STEP DEPENDS ON PREVIOUS STEP ⚠️

1. Non‐Indonesia Vaccination Verification (14 days) 💉

Register vaccination status at https://vaksinln.dto.kemkes.go.id/.

  1. Submit Indonesian Identity Card (KTP) number (DO NOT use Passport number), the KTP number will be used to link with Indonesia Pedulilindungi app.
  2. Submit Vaccination Certificate from https://www.notarise.gov.sg/.
  3. Wait around 14 days for approval.
  4. Check approval status at https://vaksinln.dto.kemkes.go.id/ daily.

2. Pedulilindungi (60 mins) 📱

  1. Download Pedulilindungi app from Apple App Store or Google Playstore.

  2. Create a new account on the Pedulilindungi app with email addresss.

  1. Generate Indonesian "Vaccine Certificate" from the Pedulilindungi app with number of Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP).

3. Apply VTL (Vaccinated Travel Lane) (60 mins) 📨

ONLY FOR LONG-TERM VISIT PASS ⚠️

Singapore PR (Singapore Permanent Resident), continue to 4 ⚠️

  1. Ref: https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/vtl/requirements-and-process.
  2. Apply VTP (Vaccinated Travel Pass) at https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/STO1/VTL.
  3. Wait until the VTP approved.

4. Airline Tickets (20 Mins) 🔖

5. Quarantine Hotel in Indonesia (2-3 days) 🏨

Every International arrival, starting on 29th November 2021, is required to present vaccine certificates (full doses) exception of Johnson and Johnson and Cansino Vaccine (1 time only), and a 3x24 hours negative COVID-19 PCR test result to enter Indonesia. Continuing with the requirement to undergo a mandatory of 6 nights and 7 days quarantine at the designated accommodation conducted by the Indonesian government at their own expenses. The requirement must be followed by the second PCR test on the 6th day at the designated accommodation.

  1. Contact Hotel via Email or Whatsapp.

  2. Wait for confirmation from the Hotel.

  1. NOTE: Choose Hotel with International Accredited (e.g https://all.accor.com/id/city/hotel-jakarta-v5213.shtml), near to the Highway, in-case needed to continue journey with Domestic flight after quarantine period.

6. Pre-departure COVID-19 PCR Test (2 days) 🌡

  1. Make appointment for Pre-departure COVID-19 PCR test 2 days before flight to Indonesia.

  3. Print hard copy of NEGATIVE PCR result.

8. Flight - Changi T3 & Arrive at Jakarta - CGK T3 (6-7 hours) 🛫

  1. Arrive early to Changi Terminal 3, estimate 3-3.5 hours before flight.
  2. Expect to be in the queue, preparing a hard copy of Vaccine Certificate and NEGATIVE Pre-departure COVID-19 PCR test to be checked by Airline staff.
  3. The Immigration officer will ask to remove mask to verify the Passport photo and passenger face.
  4. Arrive at the departure gate early, drink enough water.
  5. Once again the airline staff will ask to remove mask to verify the Passport photo and passenger face.
  6. NOTE: It is better not to wear an N95 mask before final check, otherwise it will be difficult to remove mask and wear it again.📌
  7. NOTE: Wear an N95 mask after Final check by Airline staff.📌
  8. Boarding to the plane and ready to go, Bon Voyage!
  9. Flight will take between 1.5-2 hours.
  10. Arrived in Indonesia, CGK Terminal 3.
  11. NOTE: Locate a toilet inside CGK Terminal 3 Arrival Hall, clear the bladder, there is no toilet after Customs clearance. ⚠️
  12. Follow instruction for Vaccine check, on-arrival COVID-19 PCR, Immigration clearance, baggage pickup, Customs clearance.
  13. Each person will be asked to remove mask again to compare with the Passport photo upon arrival.
  14. Look for the Hotel assistant and wait around 1.5-2.5 hours for NEGATIVE COVID-19 PCR result.
  15. Once the COVID-19 PCR result is received with NEGATIVE result, Hotel transport will send to the Hotel for quarantine.

9. Quarantine (3-14 days) 😷

  1. Arrive at the designated Hotel & Check-in.
  2. Hotel staff will ask to pay all the bills in full.
  3. Prepare to ask the Hotel to deposit some money ("open card", preferred Visa or Mastercard) S$100 - S$150 will be enough, just in-case need to order food/drinks (room service), without deposit hotel staff will ask to pay each order from room services immediately.
  4. The Hotel will provide 3 meals every day: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  5. Daily laundry will be collected in the morning between 8-10 a.m. (3-5 PCs each day)
  6. Hotel staff will inform by phone when is the Exit COVID-19 PCR test, normally one day before the end of quarantine date.
  7. The Hotel will inform when COVID-19 PCR coming back NEGATIVE (before 11 a.m. next day).

  1. Prepare to checkout, packing all your belongings and leave the room. NOTE: Normally elevator at quarantine floor will be locked, call the hotel reception before leaving the room. 📌
  2. Checkout from the Hotel, close all the bills, including room services, etc., get a hard copy of the Release Letter.

  1. NOTE: Try to avoid crowded place, stay and eat within the Hotel area. 📌
  2. The NEGATIVE COVID-19 PCR result can be used for domestic flight within 3 days of the test.
  3. Verification with the Pedulilindungi will be required for each domestic flight, ensure that NEGATIVE COVID-19 PCR/ART results appear in the Pedulilindungi mobile app.
  4. NOTE: NEGATIVE COVID-19 PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) results not required for Indonesia domestic flight, only ART (Antigen Rapid Test) administered by medical professionals. 📌

10. Return to Singapore (2-3 days) 🛬

  1. NEGATIVE COVID-19 PCR test two days before arrival in Singapore.
  2. Complete SG Arrival Card with Electronic Health Declaration, 3 days before flight to Singapore.
  3. Use Safe Travel Concierge to book on-arrival PCR Test (S$125).
  4. Go to the Airport early (3.5-4 hours)
  5. Bring hard copy for Airline Check-in:
    • NEGATIVE COVID-19 PCR test.
    • Vaccination Certificate.

  1. Check-in to the departure gate on time (CGK Terminal 3).
  2. Drink enough water.
  3. When arriving to Singapore (Changi Terminal 3), use Automated Immigration Gates. Reduce contact with other people.
  4. After exit from Automated Immigration Gates, ICA (Immigration and Checkpoints Authority) will send automatic an email to inform about arrival status, IMPORTANT: DO NOT MISSED THIS EMAIL, THE EMAIL NEED TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED. ⚠️
  5. Complete COVID-19 PCR at the airport and immediately go home with Taxi.
  6. Isolate until COVID-19 PCR test result coming back NEGATIVE.
