Got access to Copilot for CLI, but when authenticating in CLI, it erroneously thinks I don't have a Copilot subscription. #54611

Hi @Abstracting , Sorry that Copilot for CLI is not working as expected. Could you please remove the cached GitHub and Copilot access tokens located in the following location, try re-authenticating and check if it helps? Thanks! |

Is there still a waitlist? It says completed on the next website, however I am getting this error with an active copilot subscription:

I get the same error when authenticating. Re-authenticating does not help. I am able to authenticate, with CoPilot, using the "gh" tool. |

Same here, no way to log into this. Documentation is non-existent. Is this project actually released right now? |

Same issue here, I have tried removing the "~/.copilot-cli-access-token" (cannot find the ~/..copilot-cli-copilot-token). Same error, unable to verify waitlist access (which i am on). I have a paid subscription of Copilot and its working. Please help |

I have the same issue and it is not clear if there is a wait list or not. I have organisation copilot for github and enabled the beta feature (GitHub Copilot in the CLI) for my team and we all get Unable to verify waitlist access. |

Sorry that Copilot for CLI is not working as expected.
Could you please remove the cached GitHub and Copilot access tokens located in the following location, try re-authenticating and check if it helps?
~/.copilot-cli-access-token
