Github gives you multiple choices of where it takes its sources from. By default, it's the root of the master branch, which will use README.md in case there is no index.html. But you can also switch to the docs/ folder in your repository settings. With that, you can put the index.html under the docs/ folder. Or, just move your index.html to the outermost of your repo, so GitHub pages can detect it, since index.html is the the default file that GitHub Pages will look for to display your website. |

Hi! im new to coding and for an assignment i need to deploy my work on pages. my setup is the following yet it is only displaying the README file. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
