To check out NoteCards' sample notefiles like DEMO.NOTEFILE without making inadvertent changes I open them read-only.
But every time I open a filebox or card I get a dialog with the message Card has been changed and the options Save changes and Revert. If I open a notefile read/write, when closing a filebox or card via Close and Save > Close w/o Saving I get a dialog with the message Are you sure you want to flush your changes?
In both cases I'm reasonably sure I don't make any changes. But even if I did change the notefiles, opening fresh copies leads to the same behavior.
Is there a way of opening a notefile read-only without such prompts?
