Not really, some software really doesn't like being installed anywhere. In the default location CI runs a lot of checks for that (and still doesn't catch all). Locally you probably won't
It can introduce random dependencies that break your build since the environment is never as clean as brews CI. |

More like: you have python 3.8 installed and the software picks that as python3 and now it doesn't work since it depends on python 3.12.
