Add an event(s) to indicate whether a controller is connected to a leader. It is possible to reason this state by observing other events, but it would be easier for external systems to understand the state of controllers if this type of event was emitted.

Add events for when state changes:

  • not connect to leader -> connected to leader
  • connect to leader -> not connected to leader
