Describe the bug

The shortcuts listed in the Tools submenu don't seem to work, even if Plover is in focus. Asking around on Discord, this seems to affect other Windows users, but not Mac or Linux users. Other shortcuts (e.g. Ctrl+, for Configure) do work.

To Reproduce

  1. Open Plover
  2. Press Ctrl+N, Ctrl+J, Ctrl+L or Ctrl+T
  3. Nothing happens

Expected behavior

It should open up the relevant tools.

Operating system

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Plover Version: 4.0.0.dev8+66.g685bd33

Can you please retest with the latest master just to be sure? (=> latest builds)

In Plover 4.0.0.dev8+340.g4556cf7, they do partially work. Ctrl+N doesn't do anything (should be Add Translation), and with Spectra Lexer installed, Ctrl+L doesn't work either. The others work now, and Ctrl+L works without Spectra Lexer installed.

This was fixed once. #1062 (that is probably the reason why it is fixed when you upgrade to latest master)

Ctrl+N also fail on Linux. (latest master)
