Support for authorization proxies

I'm currently setting up Authelia to protect all my services. Accessing openHAB via the web works without problems, because I'm automatically getting redirected to login in the proxy. Using the REST Api works by adding proxy authentication headers.
The openHAB app isn't working at the moment.

Solution I would like

Specifying proxy login information or custom headers (which can contain the login information) in the connection settings.
An even better solution would be to not save the password and log the user in interactively and then only save the session cookie.
