@sarina What courses do you want to link to instead? @kdmccormick What should the link to the nightly sandbox actually lead to? @sarina Noting the trademark statement references edX. Any idea as to whether we can change that now? |
oh thank you for creating this issue ✅ edX documentation ---> Should be changed to Open edX documentation and should link to docs.openedx.org Enroll in edX101 ---> Should be changed to [Open edX Demo Course] and link to https://training.openedx.org/courses/course-v1:Axim+DemoX+Demo_Course/about Enroll in StudioX ---> I have no idea. We could either point at Studio documentation, point at the sandbox (which tbh would not help them), or remove this button Open edX nightly sandbox ---> This is just a link to your site's LMS homepage and the wording is pulled from what you named your platform. The name of I don't like "Open edX Portal". We haven't called the Open edX homepage the Portal in a really long time. I had no idea where it would go when I clicked on it, to be honest. @jmakowski1123 your decision but we should either change the button text or remove it. |
Just links back to your site's homepage. You can hover and see
They are correct and do not need changing. edX owns the trademark. See the footer on openedx.org and https://openedx.org/trademark-licensing-details/ and for further questions we can circle up with our legal team. |
The following links need to be updated/changed
edX documentation ---> Should be changed to Open edX documentation and should link to docs.openedx.org
Enroll in edX101 ---> Should be changed to [Open edX demo course?]
Enroll in StudioX ---> Should be changed to [???]
Open edX nightly sandbox ---> [Not sure where this should lead but it currently just links to the LMS]
