✅ In Scope:

  1. Clicking the Collection Info button on the collection home page will open the Collection Info Sidebar (related: Collections Sidebar info button should match the Library Sidebar info button #1164)
  2. The Collection Info Sidebar should also be open by default whenever the user first navigates to a particular collection.
  3. The Collection sidebar contains two tabs: Manage and Details. Manage always opens by default when the Sidebar is first opened.
  4. Users can close the Sidebar by clicking the "x" in the upper right corner. When the sidebar is closed, the number of content tiles is responsive and occupies the space instead. If there are no content tiles yet, the empty state display is responsive and occupies the space instead.
  5. The Collection Info Sidebar allows users to change the collection name (but only show the pencil icon if the user has permission to edit the library)

Manage Tab: This will be defined in epic #1094, for now the tab just needs to exist in an empty state.

Details tab: The Details tab contains the following fields:

  1. Description field, which users can add free text to
  2. Count of items in the collection
  3. Last modified - The last time that the last piece of content in the collection was modified.
  4. Created - The time at which the colleciton was created.

@sdaitzman What was the original set of requirements behind the Collection Stats: Content Type counts? I can't seem to find the designs for that bit, and I don't remember discussing the specs. It currently seems to be configured such that the three most recently added content types get a slot, and anything else gets lumped under "other". I'm thinking instead, the three persistent slots should be problem, text and video, and everything else gets lumped under other. What are your thoughts?

A minor correction: the three types with the highest count get a slot. We use alphabetical order as second criteria. In this example, we have "Text" before "Problem" because "Text" is actually "html".
So if problem, text and video are more common, they will get a slot outside "Other".

We also can change it if you think there is a better way.

@jmakowski1123 @rpenido I agree that those three persistent slots should be problem, text, and video. I don't think the Figma collateral currently specifies, but those three will cover most cases, and should characterize collections fairly well. I updated the Figma component to show that group.

@jmakowski1123 @sdaitzman The sandbox was updated, fixing this issue. Could you please check it?
