Towards automation of 5ETools -> Markdown -> Outline wiki

Ideally homebrew would be entered once into 5eTools JSON and then I could export it to Outline in a consistent or automatic way.

5eTools current Markdown output same as Homebrewery. This works great for Outline, although some things need to be removed from a nesting > quote block

This active project converts 5eTools to Obsidian.md format, with support for templating:

Homebrewery is available to run locally:

I'm wondering if Gitlab automation (Runners?) can be used to take new commits of homebrew json files here and automatically generate a PDF using Homebrewery. These could be attached to their individual Outline pages via API....

Added Homebrewery @ https://homebrew.dungeon.church

  • Google Drive credentials? How do logins work?
  • Does it matter that I didn't change the URL in config/ folder? Looks like there are options in build script
  • API - appears to be one, but it's undocumented
