New user here, testing out the hosted version, before setting up self hosted version. I can not seem to get the bookmarklet to work on either my Linux desktop in Chrome or Firefox or on my ChromeOS devices (Chrome version 81)

I see the small square pop up in the lower left corner, but it always asks "Please login first" which I do, but still get the "please login first" message again.

Checking the web app reveals that no documents are added. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the great app --- it's really awesome.

Hi,
Have you enforce your browser security policy (or block third party cookies)? What's the concerned URL you want to save? Some websites have countermeasures to prevent the addition of code on their pages (but for this last assumption, you shouldn't see the bookmarklet at all).
On my side, it's working well on Firefox 76.0.1 (Linux) and Chrome 83.0.4103.61 (Windows) with Medium pages.

I have tried pages from medium, hackaday.com, and several other sources. Nothing works.
I did turn off any security I could ("Insecure Content" is set to Allow), and I have enabled cookies.

I did not try windows (as I don't immediately have it available)., but can get a windows laptop to test. Thanks! I will report back here.

Sorry for the delay in updating this issue. Windows 10 running Chrome 83.0.4103.61 works, but I can not get the keeper pop up to go from "please login first" to "send this page to keeper" on Linux or ChromeOS.
Let me know if I can be of additional assistance, as I would love to get this working.

I wonder if this is related to SameSite cookie changes with upcoming Google Chrome update.
I updated the Keycloak instance. Can you run the test again, please?

Hi! That works in Chrome on ChromeOS! I will check Chrome on Linux when I get to that machine. Thank you!

Tested and working on Linux / Chrome as well. Thanks again! If I were to move to self-hosting via Docker, would I need a specific version of Keycloak?

Indeed! Last one (10) is a good option.
