Downloaded models no longer show in list

I am enjoying GPT4All, and I downloaded three models, two through the GPT4All interface (Llama and Mistral) and one from a third-party website which I then imported into GPT4All. Recently, the third-party website came out with an update to their large language model, so I downloaded the update and installed it the same way I install the original model. Then the old and the new versions of the third party model appeared in the "Load a model" popup of GPT4Al, as well as Llama and Mistral. However, recently, upon launching GPT4All, I see only the updated third-party model and none of the others. I tried restarting GPT4All as well as the computer, to no avail. Do I need to reinstall the missing models, reinstall GPT4All or do something else? Advice appreciated.
