Sorry for the late reply. While I have kind of moved on and left the Kafka ecosystem (for now at least), I am still open to merge PRs and support anyone who brings their time and brain to the projects.

@krystianity that's a shame, this is a really cool project.

Do you think there is room for a project which isn't fully compatible with kafka streams but has similar capabilities? eg as a stream merger / observable interface backed by rocksdb

Judging by the number of outstanding PRs, the project is rather dead.
Has anyone made a viable fork?
