Internal training lesson on Soft-Skills

Hi SIGers,

Some time ago @JaroCamphuijsen and I thought about developing an internal lesson for soft skills. Yesterday, I talked to @AdamBelloum, and he thinks it could be a good one. Of course, it will be oriented to the skills needed to work on eScience projects (presentation/communication, negotiation, networking, time management, NVC ...). It will be a nice way to round off all the knowledge we've accumulated over the years.

I want to propose a session to

• draft the skeleton of the lesson (for instance, what can we reuse from the Turning way?).
• assign people who would like to contribute per topic,
• think about ways to develop the lesson further (via the SIG, offline collaborative effort, K&D budget ...)

Count me on the list of interested people. The possibility of developing a lesson in presentation and communication skills has been on my desk since years ago.
