The current allowed formats for input to the NIEM model (core or domains) are:

XML
CSV

A Common Model Format (CMF) eg see https://github.com/niemopen/ntac-admin/blob/main/project-notes/docs/tech-arch-v1.0-pn01/tech-arch-v1.0-pn01.md#31-metamodel-and-common-model-format-cmf is part of NIEM 6.0,
but only as an output format.

It is proposed that model changes may also be proposed in CMF format

We should support this. Won't be implemented in time for the 6.0 release.
