Question: Should comments for podcast episodes be federated across instances?

Hi all, I'm not sure if it is ok to use GitHub issues for questions, but I could not find a better channel so far.

My main interest in neodb is federated reviews and comments on podcasts and podcast episodes.

I have added a podcast through its feed in neodb.social, but then realized it was better for me to use eggplant.place.

I made different comments on both instances, and I expected both comments to show up on both instances, but I only see the comments on their respective instances:

Are comments for podcast episodes not federated? Should they be? Is this a bug, a missing feature, or "working as designed"?

This is a known limitation. Also to be clear, it is still federated, just as a normal note, not as a comment linked to an episode.

The federation of episode comment is not as straight forward as other item type, as it requires download and sync the show info first. for same reason, tv episode comment is also not fully federated. Will work on it in near future.
