Show trip duration

Packing is often directly depending on the number of days/night spend out of the house. I suggest showing this information somewhere. In further iterations, you could even have suggested items+amount based on templates (defined by the user, learned based on previous trip, etc.)

Yes I agree with you these would be nice features.
Adding trip duration in list or summary is quiet easy, and will be done.

Then we could mark items like "quantity equals nbre of days" like socks for example is something I also thought about.

Suggestions of items based on previous trips is already done and will be in next release. But suggested items are ordered on number of trips they appear in, a better sorting would be to order it based on the fact they appear on trips of similar durations.
