Since abaqus supports python3 now, will this package upgrade to python3?

That would be a great thing to do. I won't have time to work on it in the near term. Pull requests are always welcome!

Which version of Abaqus are you talking about? I guess the recent version 2022 is still Python2.7

In abaqus 2020, there are both python2.7 and python3.7 in directory "C:\SIMULIA\EstProducts\2020\win_b64\tools\SMApy".

omg this is enlighting, no more messy python3 subprocess call of Abaqus. Have to update from 2019 :).

But is also the Abaqus-API python3.7 accessible?
