You probably should ask all this questions about mod updates to mojang that does idiotic changes that require mod authors to work on update every new minor version.

I am the first (and probably not the only one) who has been asking for a proper MOD interface for 10 years. So many good mods have "died" since then because they obviously can't get it right.
