wanted to ask do you guys use/plan on using Github's milestone to plan some work ?
i.e. you have a feature to implement that requires several tasks and those tasks are organized within single milestone ?

I believe the Github 'Milestone' concept corresponds to the Scrum concept of the 'Sprint', whereas the concept @kornicameister is referring to would fall under 'epic' - a functionality or user story that is very large and can be broken into many sub-tasks. Github has a very nice plugin for planning agile sprints called Zenhub, and it implements these concepts very smoothly. It also allows for assigning story-points to each issue, and generates a burn-down chart as each issue is closed. It's also free for community projects: https://www.zenhub.com/
