Read, mark and copy chat messages #1
Comments
Hello Neals,
Thanks for your suggestion. We plan to implement a similar functionality
but in a different way. We plan to let the user have a dialog, which they
can open with a keystroke, which shows all chat messages received while in
the meeting. The user will be able to copy any message he wants with the
standard keystroke ctrl + c, as well as reviewing the messages of course.
We hope that we will manage to do that even when the chat window is closed,
this is up to Zoom accessibility API though.
Feel free to make any suggestion you may have in mind. We are happy to get
suggestions and we promise to consider them seriously.
Hope that helps!

Hello dear zoom add-on developer team,
I have a question about your Zoom add-on:
Is there a key combination/shortcut that can be used to have the latest
chat messages read out directly? In JAWS this is possible with CTRl+1 to
CTRL+0; is this also possible with your add-on?
Is it also possible to select specific chat messages or the entire chat
history with a key combination and copy them to the clipboard? Suggestion:
Press CTRL+0-9 twice to mark the corresponding message; press 3 times to
copy it to the clipboard.
I would be very grateful for an answer!
With best regards
Niels

think your enhancements regarding the chat will be very helpful.

Hello Niels,
We have released version 1.1 of the ad-on today, and we have implemented
some of your suggestions. We plan to implement the rest in the next
versions, so stay tuned.
I am keeping the issue opened because not all of the suggestions were
implemented.
Enjoy!
