My name is Maurizio. I am a professional full-stack Software Engineer.

I am deeply interested and actively working on improving my skills in the following technologies: Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS,C# / .Net, GraphQL.

I have worked with several businesses and startups that I helped by developing web apps to strengthen their businesses. When I’m not designing or developing, in my free time I like to research the latest in developing trends to increase my productivity and sharpen my professional tool kit.

It’s not all business though, I have a strong passion for photography and I like exercise to keep myself in good shape, physically and mental.

Working to digitalise the developer experience of the Queensland Government.

My role is to develop a scalable documentation platform in AWS accessible to each department of the Government in order to offer a streamlined way to extend the digital experience of residents and citizens of Queensland.

Working with a small group to bring DNA sequencing for cancer treatment accessible.

My role consists of:

• Gathering the requirements and building and integrating the LIMS software solution that allows the DNA sequencing laboratory to function and track the work flow to accomplish the highest available standard for human pathology laboratories in Australia (NATA 15189).
• Designed and developed the front end application, collaborating with the other stakeholders within the company. Used React/GraphQL.
• Designed and developed the SQL backend (Postgres) models
• Designed and developed the overall backend of the system, using NodeJS/Sequelize and GraphQL for the API layers.
• Developed parts of the bioinformatics pipeline using Python/GCloud Genomics/Google BigTable
• Designed and deployed the overall system using GCloud and set up continuous integration and deployment in the backend.
