How to Disable Authorization Warnings in Milvus-Proxy?

milvus-proxy prints a lot of lines like the following

In the milvus.yaml file, I have the following configuration:

common:
  security:
    authorizationEnabled: false
    # The superusers will ignore some system check processes,
    # like the old password verification when updating the credential
    # superUsers: root
    tlsMode: 0

I don’t need to use authentication for Milvus. How can I disable these warning logs?

Which version of your milvus?
Did you ever use RBAC interface to create user or role before? https://milvus.io/docs/rbac.md#2-Create-a-user

I am using version milvus v2.3.21. I think that I have not set up anything related to authentication or authorization.

# pymilvus
connections.connect(config.MILVUS_ALIAS, host=config.MILVUS_HOST, port=config.MILVUS_PORT)

This error only occurs when the common.security.authorizationEnabled is true and connection without providing a username and password.

Each time you set up a connection, the proxy log will print this error?
connections.connect(config.MILVUS_ALIAS, host=config.MILVUS_HOST, port=config.MILVUS_PORT)

Normally, if the proxy prints this error in log, you should get this error on client side:

grpc._channel._InactiveRpcError: <_InactiveRpcError of RPC that terminated with:
	status = StatusCode.UNAUTHENTICATED
	details = "missing authorization in header"
	debug_error_string = "UNKNOWN:Error received from peer  {grpc_message:"missing authorization in header", grpc_status:16, created_time:"2024-11-29T14:50:42.972933474+08:00"}"

My clients use the above connections, and there are no errors; everything is working fine. It's just that milvus-proxy logs a lot of the warnings mentioned above.

I could not reproduce your issue.
With milvus v2.3.21, I set authorizationEnabled=false and do something such as insert/search, I didn't see the WARN in proxy logs.

Client can still connect and search sucessfully. However, when calling a search, milvus-proxy logs messages about authorization. Every 3 or 4 search calls, there is one warning. When I stop performing searches, the proxy does not show any authorization warning logs.
