Haha. Well, I've always wanted to see it boot Linux. Maybe I could fork it into a separate project later.

I'd love to at least support 286 protected mode, that opens up a whole world of Windows 3.1 software and doesn't require redoing a bunch of logic to handle either 16 or 32 bit instructions.

hope it can be disabled with a define in config.h - your emulator is such a nice and still simple example how to write an emulator that is able to do something real - dosbox is just too big to use as a example for trainees that should learn some low level stuff

would also love to see protected mode implemented. Sadly I am too dumb to implement it myself ¯_(ツ)_/¯
