When I copy a file and paste in the same dir (ctrl+c, ctrl+v), I get filename copy.tsx, then I need to right click, rename, double click, delete, and rename. That takes too much effort, specially when you are dealing with dozens of files daily.
My suggestion is to show up a small dialog "duplicate file found, rename to..." so that I can just rename it, before needing to click on rename, select, delete and rename.
I think IntelliJ does the same as what I'm asking, it asks what is the name of the file you are pasting.
