How to make a more complex state diagram

I have a state diagram based on my project, and it's a little more complex than the usual state diagram

My idea is this

I need a state diagram to have something like a class diagram inside the state, or to have something like a class diagram in a note linked to the state.

For example, my transition sends mail, so I wanted to put that information in a note linked to the transition, but there are more informations to add, this is why something like a class diagram would get in handy

I think the simplest way would be to have many notes inside the states, with different styles on each note

and notes on the transitions also

has anyone done that?
