sorting order

I have several columns on my hackertab starpage, when I have it on a specific language I expect them to order by date, newest at the top. But, of the sources I use, only dev.to & hashnode (seem) to order by date, medium & reddit seem to order by popularity or something.
When a column is on trending it's a given that the date (and even time) is not in order.

Is it possible to make it order by date?
