7z-zstd is an excellent software, but I see that it has not been updated for nearly two years. I hope the developers can upgrade the version.

This is basically a dup of #337 and #350.
The issue is - the sources of original 7z are not in some SCM, they will be published only from version to version.
And last update changes almost everything (see for example fb07e92, where 997 files changed, +40072 -25544 lines changed), so a merge is not trivial, has a lot of conflicts, etc.
I'm also on it, but it'd take some time.
