Mautibot was created sometime ago to present some branded points across the app interface. Since it’s creation, many places started using the figure but issues also started to appear.
The current design uses gradient colors and thin lines for the eye pupils, which can sometimes feel a bit outdated and hard to see when space is a limitation.
For this refresh, the main goal would be to slightly change the figure to improve it.
Specifically:
Create a .SVG version (vector file that can be resized infinitely without losing quality, that is also really small in size and good to use within the app)
Make the figure suitable for different sizes, including small (e.g. still visible in 28x28 pixels or similar)
Allow us to have more variations, expressing emotions or related to success, info, warning, danger and error states
In the perfect scenario, we don’t want to limit you or your creativity. Feel free to apply your magic.
It’s just essential to remember that this figure was used a lot over the years and people already recognize it, so for example, a proposal where the figure is completely turned into something else will be less desired as we would loose the brand effort applied to it until now.
