Mautic's official place for information and discussion that might be relevant for others, too, is forum.mautic.org. However, other places are used as well - namely the Facebook group.
The goal of this task is to embrace that situation and develop a strategy that encourages members of the Mautic Facebook Group to use forum.mautic.org as the primary place for in-depth discussions, support, and community engagement.
Focus on how we can clearly inform Facebook group visitors that the forum may be a more suitable platform for their needs. What type of banner image, messaging, pinned posts, or regular updates in the Facebook group could highlight the benefits of the forum and direct people there for deeper conversations and long-term engagement?
Additionally, please think about a sustainable, one-way solution to duplicate or cross-post relevant content from the Facebook group to the forum. This could involve tools for automatic content transfer, manual processes for moderators, or even guidelines for group members to initiate these transfers themselves.
The challenge is to support forum.mautic.org as the central hub of the community and all Mautic users, while still maintaining an active presence in the Facebook group that is actively used but also constantly directs members toward the more valuable, long-lasting content on the forum.
