Event in private assembly restricted to membership list doesn't allow commenting

The event for our General Assembly is in a Private/Transparent assembly. It's restricted for joining and commenting to our membership list (census).

At present members see a message that they can't comment on the event, which seems to be a bug.

This is because folks need to be added as private members, as well as being in the members of the assembly - it seems this might be a bug but we worked around it.
