Gedit is now available and running natively on Windows. But I really dislike the modern UI of it so even on Linux I still prefer Pluma over Gedit. So should there be a version for Windows? It's possible. I know it's possible, Gedit could be running natively on Windows, so does Pluma. Please consider it. Thank you.

I want to convey my personal choice, and maybe it matches with the decision of the other members. I think that we won't add support for native run on Windows at the moment, and it isn't planned to do it soon. However, I don't want to discourage you, who knows what may happen in the future. I don't have a crystal ball. We are glad that you enjoy of our applications. We maintain them with great enthusiasm. Thanks for your message.
I for one do not own any Windows installs nor will I for privacy reasons. Thus I cannot test Windows builds, and I have never played with cross compiling either. Thus I could not contribute to a Windows port
