Expected behaviour

free -m says that I have 3.5 gigs used, while System Monitor says only 2.3 gigs. Free is right, as adding up the memory the Processes tab has for firefox, I get 2.6 gigs.

Actual behaviour

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

I have a few tabs of firefox open, and nothing else that uses much ram.

Seeing this bug as well, although free -m shows less memory used in my case. Using System Monitor 1.20.0

$ free -mh
              total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem:            17G        1.9G        178M        200M         15G         15G
Swap:          2.0G          0B        2.0G
