Wrong type on pluginFolder, string, not Path

In an init.lua file in a folder (so not a single-file plugin) I can't get the rawValue of the pluginfolder path (plugins API works fine) even though the value exists

martax.alert("plugPsraw",         marta.globalContext.application.pluginsFolder.rawValue) -- ok
martax.alert("plugP tos",tostring(marta.globalContext.application.pluginFolder         )) -- ok
martax.alert("plugP tos",type(marta.globalContext.application.pluginFolder         )) -- string, not Path!!!
martax.alert("plugP raw",         marta.globalContext.application.pluginFolder.rawValue)  -- FAIL
