It is great the ability to measure and have all the metrics directly in Eclipse IDE. Anyway, it would be great if you can have the results without the graphic interface, so you can use this measures as part of, for example, a Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline or execute it for a group of projects in an unattended way.

This tool was created using the Eclipse AST/Workspace package since is an Eclipse plugin. It's made to be connected to a specific IDE. After some analysis, I believe I can partially adapt your idea to make the plugin run the measurement tasks as a background job in the IDE, to be added in the next release. And thank you very much for your suggestion!
I have plans to create a new version of the tool, not directly connected to IDEs (then could it be executed headless), but it is another project completely different from this one. But I don't have dates or concrete plans, since this project is personal.
As soon as I have something concrete, I'll update this thread.
Thank you very much for your positive answer. The improvement you suggest over IDE background execution is a great point and your intention to implement a non-IDE approach is wonderful. I would love to know about it when available! Again, thanks!!!!!!!!
