Is there an existing issue for this?

Current behavior

When I "make a copy" of an issue, it also copies the status of the issue.
If the source is done, the copied issue is also done.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Make a copy of an existing issue

It should be the default first state of the project

@the-project-group Thank you for highlighting this behaviour! The current design ensures that all elements of the source issue, including its status, are copied to maintain consistency. This approach was chosen to provide a complete replica of the original issue. However, we understand that this may not suit every use case. We’ll review this internally and explore if there’s a more flexible approach. We appreciate your feedback!
