I really like calver but I find that https://calver.org lacks information. It could link at least https://chronver.org as an example scheme spec. I also realized that none of the existing examples work for Go modules which insist on semver. What to do there?
I came up with a semver scheme compatible answer: https://github.com/ypsu/featver. Furthermore I accept the premise that software is changing and semver is too limiting so I also suggest a principled approach to managing compatibility-breaking changes over time.
What do you think about this? Would you say this is calver compatible? If so could it be mentioned on calver.org (along with chronver.org)?
