Unable to close newly created windows within firefox

Currently using the latest version of Neko with latest firefox docker container
When trying to close any window that has a single tab open it just creates a new window
Is there away to remove these extra windows?
It's on a persistent instance of neko

I believe there used to be some extension that forces all windows to be opened as tabs instad of new windows.

I dont mind the new windows, I just want to be able to close them lol
I think it's being forced open because firefox is not allowing the last tab in a window to be closed
