Hi @giusepperignanese , could you provide more context? In what scenario is SAML being used?

Hi @giusepperignanese , could you provide more context? In what scenario is SAML being used?

Hello!

The context for our request is to integrate SPID (Sistema Pubblico di Identità Digitale) into our application, which is commonly used in Italy for secure, centralized user authentication in public services and private applications. SPID operates over the SAML protocol, so adding SAML support in Logto would enable our users to log into our application via SPID.

Our application is meant to serve Italian users who need to authenticate through SPID, which is a requirement in many sectors, including public administration and related services.

Thank you!

I understand. But may I ask if you’re using the OSS version or Logto Cloud? If you’re using the OSS version, you can refer to a previously deprecated SAML connector to create your own connector.
