I've been thinking about the RFFETempCtl-SP PV. RFFE has the temperature control (which might or might not be used, i.e. "on" or "off"), but what this PV is really changing is the operation mode of temperature control: whether it is manual (off) or automatic (on).
It makes more sense for me if we either:
name the PV with a reference to automatic operation mode (e.g. RFFEAutoTempCtrl-SP); or
