I've started using CIMBA as a way to log WebLinks, whilst researching an area of technology where i'm considering how to define usable solutions.

It would be useful if i could generate a link for the channel, that i could share, so others could in-turn be made aware of the channel and track it / contribute, etc.

Actually, i've found the link - ie: click on channel name - it refers to http://ubiquitous.rww.io/microblog/test/ch4/

Perhaps rather than pointing at the data-space, some sort of preference can be created to redirect or provide a notification box that suggests a compatible application (ie: CIMBA / KIMA)?

Perhaps also - people would then need to create an RWW account / storage if it's not public? or do they only need one to log-in / contribute?

The new version (on which we're working now) offers that feature in a more user-friendly way. It will also allow you to see channel posts and details, as well as to use CIMBA as a "skin".

Can you use a different branch for the "new versions" so that people can see and contribute?

Yes, that will be the practice going forward, @nicolagreco. The rewrite is being done by some new students, so it seemed better to do that off to the side until it was working.

thanks @sandhawke. I would love to contribute, even if off to the side it would be nice to play around.

I think this project goes beyond its purpose (microblogging) by being a real example from which people can copy/learn/steal and start to build, reason why you will see often my declouping, reusable components, open approach arguments!

@deiu I was chatting on a list about a way to +1 use-cases. It might also be useful to add a VOTE (and comment) function.

Comments are on the TODO list, but they are way more complicated to implement, at least from AWWW perspective.
