NES (fcemu) is a console and games auto-boot with no user input.

X68000 (px68k) is a home computer and so requires some knowledge of how it works. some disks may auto-boot, but sometimes other things are required like having one disks in each of drive A and B, or certain system settings.

So, it depends on your game.

But, this repo is only for filing bug reports, and this is not a bug.

For user support or "how do i use this?" type queries I recommend https://forums.libretro.com

he probably meant the "Start" button for a game. i could be wrong...

but just incase, since this is a PC-based kinda emulator, Starting a game can either be actual "Start" on controller, either of trigger1 or trigger2 buttons, or any of the keyboard keys, or the keys that exclusive to a real japanese x68k keyboard. Just refer to the documentation in docs.libretro.com and search for px68k. if its not there join the forums as @gingerbeardman linked to or join the discord server to ask questions or help.
